The BUPRESTID project is a series of shelters based on octagon.
The BUPRESTID project is a series of shelters based on octagonal wood.
The 1.5p has an octagonal oval shape, and the ridgeline has a carefully calculated catenary curve, so when set up properly the tent becomes an aerodynamic oval cone, increasing wind resistance.
The construction method is a unique full bonding method, with all tie-out types also bonded, and CF tape sewn into the bottom line.
This allows the shrinkage and creep that occurs in the DCF material itself due to strong pitching, repeated compression and release when setting up and taking down, and continuous use in strong winds to be appropriately suppressed in each part, minimizing changes in the shape of the tent body over the lifespan of the material.
Maintaining its shape until the very end means that it is easier to repair, extending the life of the tent body.
